Tiger Striped Pastel Fade Nails

Mondrian Pastel Nails

For this design, i roughly placed where I wanted my colors to go, and used the same pattern on each nail, rotating the pastel colors (lavender, white, yellow, and baby blue). I then added thick black lines using a striper brush. Note: This design was inspired by WAHNAILS on instagram, tons of cute ideas can be found there!

Glitter Tiger Nails

Not much explanation needed. Got the idea from the fabulous cutepolish youtube channel and I love how they turned out.

 

Mermaid Nails

For these nails, I first painted an opaque and shiny layer of a soft aqua blue color, then added a very refined pink glitter to my tips. The last step is adding two layers of Revlon's "Whimsical" (or Deborah Lippmann's "Glitter in the Air").

Whimsical Tangerine

While taking a recent family vacation to Florida, I managed to find a perfect dupe of Deborah Lippmann's "Glitter In The Air" (WHICH I HAD WANTED SO BADLY - w/o the hefty pricetag) at the local WALMART of all places! It's called "Whimsical" by Revlon and it's uber-pretty. I painted it as my accent nail and painted the rest with a fun summery tangerine tone.

Union Jack Nails

 In honor of this ever-exciting (AND dramatic, might I add) Summer Olympics 2012 being held in London, I decided to get in the spirit of British-mania and do some "Union Jack" logo nails. They are pretty easy, but If you want a tutorial, please request in the comment area! THANKS!
